Austrian authorities continue investigations into life of Josef Fritzl, who locked up his daughter for 24 years and fathered seven children with her. Austrian investigators on Wednesday (April 30) were probing Josef Fritzl for rape, incest, coercion and the death of one of the seven children he fathered with his daughter. Austrian DNA tests confirmed 73-year-old Fritzl was the father of all six of his daughter's surviving children. The plight of Josef Fritzl's daughter, Elisabeth, whom he kept in a windowless basement for 24 years, has shocked the people of the eastern Austrian town of Amstetten in which he lived. Fritzl lured his daughter Elisabeth into the cellar of their home in 1984 and drugged and handcuffed her before imprisoning her, according to a statement she released.
