Dhilwan, Punjab, 12 Jan, 2008 : Cherie Blair, wife of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, on the 12th of January visited a Government Senior Secondary School, in India's northern state of Punjab. On her visit Blair signed a memorandum of understanding with the Punjab government on behalf of the London-based Loomba Trust. Cherie Blair also handed over a cheque of Rupees 50 lakh for this project on behalf of the Loomba Trust.
