On my very first morning back in El Salvador after being in Florida for 3 weeks, I had the pleasure of being on the hotel's boat with one of the world's best surfers, Dane Reynolds, and his friend, pro surfer Adam Virs. Surfing Magazine photographer William Sharp, one of the best surf photographers in the industry, was on photo assignment with these guys, and he was kind enough to let me on the boat. After shooting along-side him for about 2 hours (see the photo gallery at www.fotophilippe.com, it's sick!), our boat ran low on fuel, so Sharp moved to another boat and I paddled out to join Dane and Adam, right at the same time that another hotel guest paddled in and broke out his HD video camera! We got about 45 minutes of surfing before the wind came onshore. A shorter, lower-quality clip was used in the interest of saving space. Enjoy! - Thanks William!
