Them dar Democrats will hold their 2008 convention in the city of Denver, in the State of Colorado, August 25, to 28, 2008. There are many Democrats who are dissatisfied with the Democratic Party due to Hillary Clinton not getting the nomination and the way delegates were allocated in two states. These discontented Democrats formed a group called, "Recreate 68." This is a reference to the 1968 Democratic Convention held in Chicago 40 years ago. This was at the height of the Vietnam War and plenty of protestors and hippies. The then mayor of Chicago, Democrat Richard J. Daley was a law and order, no nonsense mayor. That was a time when Democrats were not hijacked by political correctness and the far left crowd, they were patriots then.
