Another EZ lesson, with tips on how to go about creating walking bass lines on guitar. We demonstrate an extremely easy root-fifth-root bass line over a C6/9 chord using fingerpicking and a bossa nova style rhythm. Josh Cho specializes in classical guitar fingerpicking where the finger nails of the right hand are used to pluck the strings. This style can be used to play all types of music, including electric guitar, jazz, bossa nova, Hawaiian slack key and ukulele. Mind you, this is video demonstrates the very basic of basics and is intended to reinforce the private guitar lessons given by LI Guitar School founder Josh Cho. Some info on fingerpicking provided in this free online video guitar lesson. These videos are meant to introduce students to the unique teaching style of Josh Cho, founder of the LI Guitar School, based in Port Jefferson, NY. Long Island.
