Mr. Chan Hui Kuk, or as his friends and students call him "H.K." (Hong Kong) Chan has been a student and teacher of martial arts since his childhood in Wanchai on Hong Kong Island. As a young child H.K. studied external kung fu styles. He also read a great deal of Martial Arts books and Chi Kung texts with keen interest and a strong intellect. H.K.'s education and training is extensive and exhaustive in the pursuit of authentic Kung Fu and Meditation. In 1986, he began Tai Chi Chuan training with a student of Yang Sau Cheung's in Hong Kong and has focused all his attention to mastery of Tai Chi Chuan since then. In addition to Tai Chi Chuan training in his adulthood and prior to his tutelage under legendary Tai Chi masters H.K. was also a student of the famous Wing Chun Master and practice partner of Bruce Lee, Wong Shun Leung.
