Sources emanating from un-cleared areas say that the sea tigers are engaged in an uphill task to transfer LTTE leader Prabhakaran, injured by air attacks to Tamil-Nadu by sea. It is reported that the tiger outfit is unable to provide the required treatment to him at the Thirippan Hospital, sited in a secret location in Kilinochchi. As such, the tiger outfit is planning to transport him to Tamil Nadu on the sly. The sources said they had made inquiries from a Tamil Nadu Hospital on the provision of necessary treatment to their leader. Prabhakaran was wounded in an air raid on the 28th of last month. The raid was carried out at an identified target based on intelligence information. The intelligence was able to recently confirm the report about the LTTE leader's injury. (less)
