Orrisa, 4 December, 2007 : Dream-like dance sequences in the backdrop of a 13th century sun temple captivated the audience at the Konark Dance Festival, which kicked off on December 1st in the state of Orissa. The festival has become a major attraction for domestic and international tourists in the recent years. The artists performing this year represent a wide canvas of centuries' old classical dance forms of India. The five-day long annual gala is an opportunity for the audience to witness diverse dance forms of India converging on a single platform
