Srinagar, April 27, 2008 : Leading separatist group of Kashmir, Hurriyat said on April 27 that it would consider resuming talks with the Indian government, following Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's proposal. Addressing a public rally in Jammu and Kashmir on April 26 Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that the ruling UPA government is willing to hold peace talks. Earlier, chairman of the Hurriyat conference, Mirwaiz Omer Farooq said that the PM's offer is a ray of hope for them.
