Max the cat, whom we believe to be around 15 years of age (human years), but won't meow either way, is a professional cola taste tester in Jacksonville, Fla., and who is known for his rough tongue decisions when it comes to taste testing. Though today, in the Cola nationals taste competition that was held Feb. 6, 2005, at my brother's home in Orange Park, decided after pawing his way through so many different colas over the years, not to mention today, including, Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Rite, Pepsi, Orange drink, and even Root Beer, and knowing that we were watching and we were waiting, pawing for his decision that we thought would never come. He would only look up at us from time to time, knowing what he was doing to us as we watched him, but we just waited for him to give us some kind of sign by either a scratch or a hiss, maybe even a cough which we figured might never happen. Though as we waited pawingly for his decision, and wondered how much longer should we should let this go...
