Islamabad, Mar 26, 2008 : Former Pakistani premier and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Chief, Nawaz Sharif has rejected an appeal from two senior Bush administrative officials to go soft in his anti-Musharraf stance. During the 55 minutes-long meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte and US Assistant Secretary of State for Central Asia and South Asian Affairs, Richard Boucher, Sharif said that he could not accept the view that Washington feels comfortable getting along with Musharraf.
