New Delhi, April 5, 2008 : Indian team suffered a major jolt as its master bastman Sachin Tendulkar was ruled out of India's third and final cricket Test due to groin injury. According to BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah, Tendulkar, who sustained the injury during the opening Test at Chennai, had not recovered sufficiently to play in the third Test. The decision has been taken to give Sachin the opportunity to make a full recovery from this injury.
