Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech through a large screen Sunday marking the Martyr's Day in Beirut's southern suburb. Sayyed Nasrallah said that Israel's recent military training maneuvers near the Lebanese border were intended to prepare for a new war on Lebanon, adding that Hezbollah's own drills in southern Lebanon were in direct response to the Israeli exercises, intended to send out ''a clear message'' to the Israeli leadership that Hezbollah was ready to fight. "The (Israeli) enemy has been conducting military maneuvers for months. The latest maneuvers occurred a few weeks ago near the Lebanese border in which 50,000 Israeli officers and soldiers participated," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
