It's been four years since television audiences have seen Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. Now they're back and bigger than ever as 'Sex and the City' takes to the big screen. Hundreds of young women thronged London's Leicester Square for the film's world premiere. Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie, said she was overwhelmed by the reception. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTRESS SARAH JESSICA PARKER SAYING: "I wouldn't expect this ever, regardless of what country we found ourselves in. This is really remarkable and thrilling." Those sentiments were shared by Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha: (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTRESS, KIM CATTRALL, SAYING: "You know, it's incredible, we went off the air four years ago and instead of our fan base shrinking, it's quadrupled. And all of these women coming out tonight to say hello, it's thrilling, it really is. I'm so excited." The film takes off four years on from where the hit series left the sassy singletons.
