BCCI issues statement on Bhajji’s ban New Delhi, 7 Jan: Describing the ban on Harbhajan Singh as unfair and unacceptable, the BCCI on Monday, confirmed that it would appeal against the order and fight the "false slur" cast on its ace spinner. After a meeting of its top office bearers the BCCI said it would also request ICC in its appeal to suspend the order of three Tests bans against Harbhajan. In the statement issued by the BCCI, Shukla also said that the board was committed to protect the country fair name.
