The Pursuit is a deliberate pointer to noise pollution and traffic congestion that is endlessly on the increase in Bangalore city. Traffic jams are a regular ordeal that most commuters who travel long distance to work have to endure with. Bangalore also knows as the garden city is sadly turning into a concrete jungle losing all its greenery. The director tries to draw a contrast between the traffic filled ares and lush forestry that is only a small part of Bangalore today. Along the story line is a man who tries to get away from this everyday ordeal of commuting, answering phones and noise pollution. As a dream sequence the scene shifts from realism to surrealism as it refers to the inherent escapist nature inside him. He seeks greener pastures but fails to sustain it long as he seeks to return back to the hustle and bustle he left behind.
