Around 100,000 fans invaded the streets of Manchester on Wednesday (May 14) ahead of UEFA Cup final between Glasgow Rangers and Zenit St Petersburg. Manchester city centre turned into a sea of blue as thousand of Rangers supporters gathered ahead of one of the club's biggest games. They sang, chanted, danced and held up Union flags since early morning on Wednesday. "We're all here to party. Glaswegians have got a bad name, carrying trouble, we're not here for trouble, we've been all over the world and not caused trouble," said Rangers fan Alan Taylor. The last time the Glasgow side won European silverware was in 1972 - clinching the Cup-Winners' Cup. "When you consider twelve months ago, 18 months ago with Paul LeGuen we were doing nothing, then he's (Walter Smith) done a fantastic job and I'm all for the 4-5-1. It's got us to a European final.
