The movie is about a model heading to fashion town to find success, but the only thing to be found is the hard reality of city life and fashion. A series of photoshoots documents the downwards spiral, ending in a act of violence caused by... a banana?The fate of the designer is in the end shared with the model. Was the photoshoots a self-fulfilling prophecy in the mind of the designer? Is the designer and the model the same person? What is real? Who is David Lynch?
