Gov.-elect Chris Christie, a Republican, nominated a Democrat on Tuesday to be New Jersey’s next attorney general. Christie picked Paula Dow, the Essex County prosecutor. Dow, 54, has been the county prosecutor since 2003, and before that worked for Christie in the U.S. Attorney's Office.
