Metro Police are looking for two suspects tonight who shot a convenience store clerk in the head, killing her. It happened at the Village Pantry on South Meridian and Arizona Streets. Investigators say the victim worked third shift at the store for more than 20 years.

Ball State University police say a student confessed to officers she was not attacked on campus. Investigators say Karina Villa filed a report saying someone attacked her in October. When they questioned her about a month after the attack she lied about the crime.

Anoka County prosecutors explained the evidence today brought before a grand jury that chose not to indict a LeSueur County deputy of murder. Deputy Todd Waldron shot and killed a man wearing only his swimming trunks on July 20th in Kasota after Waldron confronted him about some erratic driving.
